Big Bird Day

A humble start in 2001 by Nikhil Devasar, founder delhibird of getting the small birder community connected, led to the creation of the Big Bird Day. The key objective of this annual event is to get all bird lovers connected. Each year the birder community comes alive and together via the Big Bird Day. This is a day long event whereby birders create teams and go birding through the city/country/world. The primary aim being to record as many species of birds as possible in a single day.
